Hi, I'm Dana.
I'm a storyteller, creative and curious soul with a camera in my hand and a pretty strong belief that the ordinary can be extraordinary. I've always been drawn to the moments that happen naturally. The laughter nobody planned, the glance between two people, the feeling of arriving somewhere completely new, the quiet moments that somehow stay with you long after they've passed. I love being behind the camera. I love chasing the light, finding the angle, flying the drone, getting lost in the edit and watching a collection of ordinary moments become something that makes someone feel and that's really where Freeman Co Creative began.
I BELIEVE LIFE IS WORTH CAPTURING
Life moves quickly.

And sometimes it's the smallest things we miss the most.
A laugh around a dinner table.
Your dad celebrating another milestone.
A new baby in someone's arms.
Friends sharing an adventure.
The feeling of standing beside the ocean.
A place that takes your breath away.
These are the moments I want to capture.
Not just how they looked but how they felt.

My work naturally falls into three things I'm endlessly drawn to:
PEOPLE
Connection, personality, laughter and the beautifully imperfect moments that happen when people simply feel comfortable being themselves.
PLACES
Coastlines, rainforest, waterfalls, wildlife, road trips and the wild places that remind us how big and beautiful this world really is.
MOMENTS
Weddings, celebrations, milestones, adventures and the fleeting moments that deserve to be remembered.
Whether I'm filming a couple, exploring somewhere new or capturing a family celebrating together, I'm always looking for the story underneath the moment.
MY APPROACH
I'm not interested in making everything look perfect.
I'm interested in making it feel real.
I want people to forget there's a camera there.
I want the laughter to happen naturally.
The movement to feel effortless.
The emotion to remain untouched.
My approach is intuitive, candid and story-led. I watch, listen and look for the moments between the moments because they're often where the real story lives.
Then I bring those pieces together through cinematic filming, thoughtful editing and a little bit of creative instinct.
BEYOND THE CAMERA
I'm happiest somewhere between a beautiful landscape and a good story.
You'll usually find me exploring somewhere new, chasing waterfalls, filming from above with my drone, experimenting with my camera, travelling with my people or disappearing into an edit for far too many hours.
I'm endlessly curious and I love creating something from nothing — especially when I get to see someone's reaction when they watch the finished story for the first time.
And one of the biggest things I'm working toward is creating a body of work that becomes a visual legacy; something that captures the people, places and experiences that make this life meaningful.
